According to reports, more and more rocks are working out and bulking up today than ever before. A population once known for their sedentary lifestyle, it’s not uncommon now to see rocks lifting smaller rocks as weights, swimming in nearby ponds or oceans, or jogging on the shore.
One rock credits this sea change to Hollywood culture – to the prevalence of rocks in recent action films. “We see these rocks on screen, acting as cops and superheroes, and sure, that inspires us,” said a mid-sized rock on the shore of the Charles River in Newton, Massachusetts. “It inspires me, at least. I do yoga every morning now, and I’m thinking about taking up karate at the local dojo.”
