There’s a new movie appearing in theaters this weekend about a maverick – so, a former cowboy, played by Tom Cruise – and a character who has a skeleton and muscles and skin made of ice (played by future door Val Kilmer).
Basically, the story is about airplanes. Both the maverick and the iceman dream of flying – of becoming commercial airline pilots. And they both realize that dream – they’re both really good pilots! But they’re still very competitive – they compete, I guess, over whose voice is smoothest while making announcements, and who can provide customers with the most comfortable travel experience. But then Maverick goes into a depression, which has something to do with the death of a duck or a bird. After driving around on his motorcycle, though, he gets over the death of the duck and becomes really good friends with the man made of ice.
The movie opens in theaters around the country on Saturday. I can’t wait to see it!
