I don’t know how you feel about the shoe takeover of Detroit, Michigan, but I, for one, am for it.  For too long, our shoes have stayed silent.  It’s time they were heard.

According to internet reports, the shoes of Detroit showed up in numbers this week to encourage recognition and lobby for shoe unions.  Detroit pedestrians were greeted with millions of shoes – some dressed in costume, or with painted faces – shouting such rallying cries as “We won’t be kicked around!” and “Meet what’s on your feet!”
